Berner-Garde Ways & Means

Thanks to everyone who supported the Foundation through Ways & Means last year, our Catalogue was a huge success. This year, we decided to expand the Catalogue to include educational articles and stories about the Foundation. This is what we hope will be the first of an Annual Publication.

Inside, you will read about what Berner-Garde is doing to help our beloved Berner breed as well as what others are doing to support the mission of the Foundation.

With great sadness this year, we said goodbye to our dear friend Sylvia Howison. She left an incredible legacy in the breed - she was the person responsible for the establishment of the BMDCA Cancer Fund and was instrumental in forging the alliance between the BMDCA and Berner-Garde. To honor her commitment to breed health, we dedicate our 2008 Berner-Garde Annual to Sylvia.
